Workshop Description

How Do Therapists Integrate in the Divorce or Legal Separation Process?

Therapists are critical in the divorce or legal separation process as they often provide support for individual contemplating or experiencing a divorce or legal separation. In addition, they can provide support for the entire family in creating or preparing their Parenting Plan, often engaging with the children to ensure their voices are heard through neutral ears.

In this presentation, therapists will hear about the various ways, in addition to mediation, to be divorced or legally separated, with insight that can be shared with clients to help them find the healthiest path.

Presenter Melinda Levy, Esq.

Melinda LevyMelinda Levy is a neutral attorney mediator, specializing in divorce and co-parenting mediation. Melinda left her corporate career to dedicate her practice to helping families navigate the tricky waters of divorce in a more peaceful manner.
