Short Description
I specialize in trauma & intergenerational trauma — patterns that repeat across generations. I work with children, teens, and adults and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or identity challenges.
Description of Practice
My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative. With children, I use play & sand therapy to help them express feelings and build coping skills. With adults & families, I draw from relational, systemic perspectives, psychodynamic, mindfulness & somatic awareness. Together, we will explore patterns, build self-compassion & self-esteem.
As a Latinex myself I also bring a multicultural perspective to therapy and I help clients who are navigating transitions and cultural conflicts. I offer session in person or Telehealth. In English and in Portuguese.
