Description of Practice
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I have 18 years of experience working in various crisis facilities, rehabilitation centers, outpatient clinics, and telehealth settings, serving a diverse range of teens, adults, and couples. I’m comfortable dealing with people experiencing crisis, addiction, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship problems.
My approach is non-dogmatic, and I draw on CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, and psychodynamic approaches. I strive to listen to what it is you are trying to achieve. I will actively share and collaborate with you based on my clinical experiences, but ultimately, it will be you to determine the pace at which we approach your defined goals.
I am a professional and take this risk you are embarking on seriously. I do infuse humor and levity, and consider myself a personable individual. People feel seen, understood, and respected by me. This is a relationship, and I want you to heal.
