Description of Practice
Marin Stress & Anxiety Center offers integrative psychotherapy for adults and teens seeking relief from anxiety, stress, trauma, and the feeling of being stuck or overwhelmed. Our work is rooted in the understanding that lasting change happens not only through insight, but through the body, nervous system, and our relationship to inner experience. We specialize in treating anxiety disorders, panic, chronic stress, trauma, burnout, and life transitions. Many of the people we work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel internally exhausted, disconnected, or caught in repetitive patterns that no longer serve them. Others come to us during moments of transition, loss, or uncertainty, looking for clarity, grounding, and a deeper sense of direction. Our approach integrates somatic techniques, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients develop greater awareness, self-compassion, and resilience. By working with the nervous system and inner emotional patterns directly, therapy becomes less about “fixing” yourself and more about learning how to listen, respond, and move forward with intention. Sessions often include body-based awareness, present-moment practices, and gentle exploration of parts of the self that carry fear, protection, or pain. For individuals who feel at an impasse or have not found relief through traditional talk therapy alone, we also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as part of a comprehensive, ethical, and supportive treatment process. This work is always grounded in preparation, integration, and ongoing therapeutic support. In addition to individual therapy, Marin Stress & Anxiety Center offers groups, workshops, and trainings focused on stress, anxiety, mindfulness, and embodied leadership. These offerings are designed to support personal growth, connection, and the development of practical tools that can be applied in everyday life. At the heart of our practice is a belief in the human capacity for growth, clarity, and meaningful change. Therapy here is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real life—supporting you in building a relationship with yourself that allows you to meet challenges with greater steadiness, choice, and purpose.
