Short Description
I work with individuals, couples, and families. My practice is eclectic, but I gravitate toward humanistic-existential (we all have growth potential and seek meaning), psychodynamic (early experiences shape us), and somatic (our bodies hold trauma).
Description of Practice
My Specialities and Approach

Neurodivergence: A Family Approach
As mom to a child with ADHD, I understand the impact that neurodivergence can have on the individual as well as the whole family. Whether a family is navigating ADHD, autism, learning differences, or other neurodiverse experiences, therapy can provide the tools, understanding, and support they need to thrive together. I offer a strengths-based approach and family-centered care.

Grief: Every Journey Is Unique
As a trained grief counselor, I support people through a wide range of emotional experiences and mourning timelines. I provide a safe, supportive space where my client's feelings and healing journey are respected. This means listening without judgment and walking beside the client at their own pace. I can also share strategies to help clients cope with difficult emotions, honor their loss, and begin to rebuild.

Trauma: Our Bodies Carry Our Stories
I believe trauma is stored in the body and requires more than just a top-down (cognitive) therapeutic approach. Flashbacks, tension, insomnia, and feelings of disconnection may indicate that a body is in survival mode. True healing begins when we learn to listen to what our bodies are trying to tell us. I integrate traditional talk therapy with body-based approaches to help clients release trauma not just from their minds, but from their nervous systems.

Additional Areas of Expertise: Anxiety, Cancer, Coping skills, Depression, Family conflict, Life transitions, Older adults and aging, Relationship issues, Self esteem, Sexual abuse, Stress, and Women’s issues.

I provide a safe, affirming space where all identities, experiences, and ways of being are respected and supported.
