Short Description
Couples Counseling and Psychotherapy
Description of Practice
With over twenty years of clinical experience, I specialize in working with both individuals and couples who are navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. I believe that even in the midst of pain, conflict, or disconnection, there is a natural drive toward clarity, connection, and healing. Therapy provides a structured, supportive space to harness that drive—whether the focus is on personal growth, relationship repair, or building healthier ways of living and loving.

My approach is integrative, evidence-based, and tailored to the unique needs of each client and couple. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—modalities that foster emotional regulation, trauma resolution, and long-term resilience. In couples therapy, I apply these approaches alongside systemic and attachment-focused perspectives, helping partners move beyond entrenched patterns, increase empathy, and strengthen communication. This work often involves uncovering how each partner’s history shapes the dynamic, and creating new pathways for intimacy, trust, and mutual understanding.

As a seasoned clinician, I bring both compassion and direction to the therapeutic process. For individuals, I hold space for the complexity of your story while guiding you toward deeper insight and practical tools for change. For couples, I provide a steady and active presence that allows both partners to feel seen, supported, and constructively challenged. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented—focused not only on symptom relief, but on building resilience, fostering growth, and creating enduring transformation.

Whether you are seeking to reprocess personal trauma, strengthen your relationship, navigate conflict, or build healthier patterns of connection, I offer a comprehensive and flexible framework for healing. Therapy with me is about more than just addressing the past—it is about reclaiming your voice, expanding your capacity for authentic connection, and moving forward with clarity and purpose.

If you are ready to engage in this important work, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you—with expertise, empathy, and a deep commitment to lasting change.
