Short Description
I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can find relief and learn tools to regain control. Let’s work together to help you move into a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
Description of Practice
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a PhD in Art Therapy, bringing an integrated and specialized perspective to psychotherapy that bridges clinical science with creative process. With advanced training in both Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy, I incorporate imagination and symbolic expression as meaningful pathways to self-understanding and change. At the same time, my approach remains accessible and adaptable; clients do not need to identify as “artistic” to benefit from this work. Creative methods are offered as supportive tools, always guided by each individual’s comfort and therapeutic goals.

My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), humanistic frameworks, and mindfulness-based practices. This allows for a flexible and responsive treatment process that attends to both symptom reduction and deeper insight. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety in its many forms, including chronic worry, posttraumatic stress, and phobias, with a focus on helping clients develop effective coping strategies while cultivating greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. In addition, I work extensively with grief, depression, and complex life transitions, supporting clients as they navigate change and meaning-making.

I work with a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, couples, older adults, and individuals across a wide range of identities and abilities, including those who are housebound. My clinical stance emphasizes respect for each person’s unique experience, and I prioritize creating a therapeutic environment that is grounded in safety, collaboration, and trust. Through a balance of empathy, attunement, and thoughtful challenge, I support clients in exploring the underlying patterns that shape their experiences while fostering resilience and forward movement toward a more fulfilling life.
