FRIDAY CONTINUING EDUCATION SERIES
Networking: These presentations include a formal networking period from 11:30 to noon, during which all members who wish to do so, can give a 30-45 second self-introduction and pitch about their practice. This is a great way to expand one's practice and learn about others’ specialties.
Time: The presentation begins at noon and ends at 2:00 p.m. This presentation will qualify for 2 CE units. Please note: there is a $10 fee for attendees who are not Marin CAMFT members.
Location: Room #201 at the Corte Madera Town Center Mall. Room 201 is on the second floor at the south end of the Town Center. (See the map below.)
Questions: For information about the Friday Continuing Education Series, becoming a presenter or about joining the Committee, contact the Director at Large for Programs, Laurie Buntain.
CONTINUING EDUCATION WORKSHOP SERIES
Marin CAMFT also hosts a number of three- to six-hour presentations on a number of topics throughout the year. These presentations are offered to members for a reduced fee and are often held on a Saturday in a nearby hotel if a large audience is expected. Notification about upcoming Workshops is via website, listserv, dedicated eblast and newsletters. Anyone interested in joining the Workshop Committee is most welcome! Please contact Marty Frankel for information about participating or if there is a particular topic or speaker that you would be interested in hearing.
ANNUAL PRELICENSED SUMMIT
Marin CAMFT (and often one of its sister chapters) host a free program in the fall for prelicensed therapists at one of the local colleges. Speakers from state CAMFT, local exam preparation companies and licensed therapist present throughout the day on the myriad challenges one faces on the road to licensure. Please contact Ian Mason or Dan Neuharth for information about participating.
