How Hypnotherapy Can Supplement Psychotherapy and Aid Client Progress

Kay Fahlstrom, LMFT

What is Hypnosis, really, as opposed to how it is represented in the media? Kay Fahlstrom will address that question with case examples and experiential demonstrations, showing how clients can better reach their goals with the power of the subconscious mind rather than with their conscious mind.

Kay Fahlstrom practices as an LMFT in San Rafael, CA and also offers separate sessions to clients seeing other psychotherapists, using either adjunct treatments of hypnotherapy; and/or E.M.D.R. (to relieve trauma, or update negative core self beliefs).  Fahlstrom graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies (C.I.I.S)., trained to become a Certified Hypnotherapist at the Hypnotherapy Training Institute and is fully E.M.D.R. trained, Kay specializes in seeing individuals, teaching and leading groups. She can be reached at 415-420-4994 or www.hypnotherapybayarea.com.

As a completely separate practice (with completely separate clientele), Fahlstrom offers relief from grief after the loss of a loved one as a Certified Spiritual Advisor through the world-renowned Lisa Williams' International School of Spiritual Development.  This part of Kay Fahlstrom's training came as a result of surviving a near-death experience from an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.  Kay will be happy to meet you at her talk on how Hypnotherapy can be an effective and excellent adjunct to your clients seeing you in ongoing therapy.
